I have often been one of those pitiful folks always looking out for an opportunity to raise my financial status. One time I even paid thousands of dollars for a class to learn how to invest in the stock market. I ended up attending four classes, took some more classes over the telephone, and then finally quit altogether. The worst part about it... no refund. Argh!! Since then, I have tried to be more careful about what I sign up for (and certainly don't sign up for anything that asks me to pay thousands of dollars again). But I still researching new venues and usually decide after just a little short while that it's not for me.

I came across Wealthy Affiliate quite by accident. I was actually looking up how to find drop shippers (another venue that didn't take off... ha!). But as I was finding those businesses, I learned that affiliate marketing actually has more potential to make money... after all, how many times have you bought something after reading a review or two? Whenever I get on amazon, I am ALWAYS reading the reviews first... when they have them, of course. I like to know that the product isn't made of real stainless steel and will rust after just 3 uses.

And on the other end, being an affiliate marketer is exciting because how many times have you been thrilled with a product and wanted to share to the world how much you loved it? With affiliate marketing, you get paid simply to share your experience with a product! It's kinda just a nice side effect that folks tend to get paid well for being an affiliate marketer.
